Whyteleafe Albion Football Club   appears to have been formed in the Autumn of 1919. The club prospered for several years progressing from Division Two of the Edenbridge and District League to the London League where it played its final two seasons before folding at the end of the 1930-31 season. During the clubs twelve year existence, they won several league titles and cups. On September 8th, 1919 a meeting was held at the Hoskins Hotel in Oxted where it was decided to restart the Edenbridge and District Football league which presumably had been suspended at the start of the Great War.  Two divisions were planned, and at the time of the meeting five clubs had entered teams for the First Division, with another three clubs interested, and six clubs were to form the Second Division. Herbert Spender-Clay M.P. The club competed in various local and regional leagues and also had a Reserve team which competed in leagues from 1920-21.
